[CPL-01] ── C what you don’t see

Somethings aren’t only things but they might be some

Why am I doing this?

This project is my playground to try stuff I normally wouldn’t because, let’s be real, awesome resources can be rarer than a lightmode Vim user. (Seriously, do those exist?)

There are so many things I’ve always wanted to try—those “what ifs” that keep popping up in my head.
Like…

What if I could use Vim as a full-featured operating system? Or perhaps develop a script that uses my obscure Vim keybindings to automatically generate documentation? Though it’s unlikely, wouldn’t that be incredible?

Motivation

I’ve always had this burning desire to understand how things operate on the inside, and eventually, build anything I can dream up. Isn’t that the whole point of programming? To create my own little universe filled with my ideas?

For the past few years, I’ve stepped away from mainstream internet platforms, focusing instead on assembling interesting resources. My inspirations? They came from GitHub repositories, Reddit deep-dives, and individual blogs—anything that felt real and raw.

Honestly, I was done with YouTube tutorials promising to teach me how to do something in “X days.” Instead of copying others’ work, I wanted to actively create, make mistakes, learn new things at every step, and find my way.

Rough sketch for a roadmap

Goal

By making this project publicly available, I aim to:

  1. Show you how I did it.
  2. Help you learn from my mistakes.
  3. Perhaps even connect with others who share the same passion for building cool stuff.
